“This is the kind of book DOMINO 100% exists to distribute. This is an anthology of work made by queer and trans prisoners, featuring stories that detail life on the inside. Besides the clear political righteousness of such a project, I'm excited to carry this because of the way the stories are drawn and told. These are clear, heartfelt, tough, vital stories that subvert any and all expectations about what a comic story SHOULD be. The art here shows a deep love for storytelling and comic making, but a love far deeper than a zombie like devotion to doing comics the 'correct' way could ever show. Truly an amazing document, a necessary read, and just plain great great comics.

Here's some info about the organization that puts these anthologies together: "A.B.O. is a collective of creators and activists who work to amplify the voices of LGBTQ prisoners through art. By working closely with prison abolitionist and queer advocacy organizations, we aim to keep queer prisoners connected to outside community and help them in the fight toward liberation. The profits we generate go back to incarcerated artists, especially those with little to no resources. Using the DIY ideology of "punk-zine" culture, A.B.O. was formed with the philosophy of mutual support, community and friendship. "
